Rules and Regulations

Membership:
You can get a membership upon presentation of satisfactory identification, providing verification of your mailing address. You do not need to reside in the City of Rosemount to have a membership at Hadi Foundation Library. There is no age limit to be a member; however minors under 17 must have their application signed by a parent or legal guardian.

You must be a member to borrow or renew books, and each registered borrower assumes full responsibility for the materials and fines charged. Change of address will be processed at no charge.

A canceled membership must be reported to the library PROMPTLY  so that a 'BLOCK' can be placed on it, precluding any unauthorized use. The registered borrower is responsible for ALL materials charged due in the membership until the time the membership cancellation is reported to the Librarian.

CHECKOUT AND RETURN:
A card with the due date on it will accompany each item checked out. Books are checked out at the Loan Desk for three weeks. Videocassettes, DVDs and VCDs are checked for fourteen days. A maximum of 3 videocassettes, DVDs or VCDs may be checked out to any individual at anyone time.

Books must be returned at the Loan Desk, as well as Videos, DVDs and VCDs. All other material should be given directly to the Loan Desk staff to prevent damage. . .

The charge for overdue books and audio recordings is 10 cents per day. All DVDs, VCDs and video recordings are 50 cents per day.

Fee Schedule:
Overdue Books (all types) $0.10 per day

Overdue Video Tapes, DVDs and VCDs $0.50 per day.

Lost materials - cost of item plus $5.00 .

Membership Fee: $5.00  (Yearly)

Renewal Fee : $5.00 (Yearly)

Index book indexes are the key to our collection. These indexes are used to locate specific items by author or title. Feel free to ask your staff for assistance in understanding Catalogs.

The staff will assist you in the use of the Reference Area and in finding that elusive bit of information you need.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR BORROWERS:
The Hadi Foundation Library would like to welcome you as a new or a returning Library Patron. We hope that you will benefit from the services that the library has to offer.

When you borrow materials from the library, you agree to return them in good usable condition within the stated loan period. Fines are charged for overdue material, missing date due cards, bar codes, etc. There is also a processing fee for lost and/or damaged material.
